Contribution Types

Individual Giving
Gifts from individuals are crucial to our viability. We welcome gifts of any size to our annual fund, which supports the general operations of the organization.

You can support AIDS Care with a gift of cash, check, or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover).

Annual Gift
If you would like to help AIDS Care continue its life-saving work, and make sure that everyone who needs care and support services is able to receive it, please consider making an annual gift. Your contribution is a way to help maintain, nourish and expand the intensely needed services at AIDS Care.

Honorary Gift
Why not honor a loved one with a gift to AIDS Care? Make a donation in honor of a loved one or special friend for any occasion - such as a birthday, promotion, holiday, etc. - while helping us continue our important work. The honoree will be notified of your gift and your gift will be published in our annual report.

Memorial Gift
Remember a loved one with a gift to AIDS Care. Your donation will help us continue to provide life-saving services to those who desperately need them. Your gift will be published in our annual report.

Bequests
You can make a significant gift to AIDS Care through your will or other estate gifts. We are happy to discuss with you in greater detail this giving option. If you have already made provisions for AIDS Care in your will, please let us know.

Donate your Vehicle
Donating your car, boat, or trailer to AIDS Care can be a great way to support our important work, and receive a tax benefit for yourself.

Although AIDS Care does not operate a vehicle donation program, you may arrange this type of donation through Insurance Auto Auction, Inc., (formerly Charity Fundings.) They are located at 522 Trolley Street, Rochester, NY 14606, and they can be reached at 585-426-1030.

When the vehicle sells at auction, IAAI will deduct an auction fee and a handling fee. The balance will be sent to AIDS Care in the name of the donor. In order to receive your tax benefit, IAAI will send you a vehicle appraisal form with their portion of the IRS Form 8283 (Donated Property form) completed. When you file your tax return, complete the remainder of Form 8283 indicating your cost to purchase the vehicle and its fair market value.
 
In-Kind Donations
Often a gift of a product or service is the best alternative for both the donor and for us. For example, for all of our events we look for donations for printing, flower arrangements, food and beverages, etc. And, we are often in need of office supplies and equipment.

Corporations and Foundations
Many corporations and foundations actively support AIDS Care through grants, sponsorships, or by matching their employees’ gifts. This support is essential to our continued success.

Special Events
Receive community recognition by sponsoring an agency fundraising event.  Meet others who share your passion for ending HIV, make a difference, and have fun by participating in an event.
